A few weeks on the heels of my post about Unity, we got a response from relevant bit of the BBC…

Thank you very much for taking the time to send us your submission for the UK entry of Eurovision 2015.  We were hugely impressed with the amount of effort, thought and care that went into the song.   We’ve been amazed by the large volume of entries although we’re well aware of just how passionate the public is about Eurovision, which this only goes to prove.

Unfortunately your song hasn’t been shortlisted…

So, rejection for another year. Kudos and love to Ruby, Lynn, Cat, Sminky, Mel, and everyone else who put effort in. The video will be released at some point and probably the song too, we’ve got a little plan for it still, so watch this space (or even better, the Unity website!).

Update: I posted a video with a bit of a statement about what we might do next, with a preview of the track…
